Yep, plays it.  Facebook sounded like a 3 year old playing a Casio Keyboard, Google is as eclectic as the random content it feeds to, while youporn.com is like a teenagers first drum lesson.

Apple.com sheeple will no doubt rave about how it sounds, while fans of this very site will delight in the shear beauty of its sound.

I’ve just ordered one of these for my Volvo as Berlin seems to be icier than Siberia right now.

Just in time for Christmas / my impending Birthday, I discovered these little gems over at AIAIAI.

When was the last time you saw a cassette? Some of you reading this may actually not know that the image is actually of a cassette. I actually met someone born in 1985 who had never heard of Massive Attack.  If you are one of those, then skip to the end and leave.

For those of you who remember cassettes, check out ArtDecks.com for a seriously large reminder that the cassette used to rule the world. The largest cassette measures 58cm x 36.5cm, which is pretty fücking big. Somehow, they can make these for just over €215 a piece. Whether they ship internationally is an open question (I didn’t delve deeper to be honest…it’s 1Am).

My copy of “Now that’s what I call Music” must be around here somewhere.

Just downloaded the vanilla test version of Sega’s Football Manager 2010.

If I’m honest, which I generally am, then I was never a big fan of this series.  I was always much more attached to Championship Manager.

Anyhow, they say that it has been improved in the following areas:

Sega have generally polished it, making it faster, more immersive and more realistic.  They’ve improved the match engine with new stadiums and crowds, as well as better lighting and pitch degradations.  There is a better user interface, using intuitive tabs as well as a big navigational overhaul.  The tactical area of the game has been improved, apparently “making it easier to make your team play as you want”.  There is a better news centre that allows you to subscribe to relevant news – which is an interesting development.

Will let you know how I get on with keeping Tottenham in the top flight…I’m glad the demo is only six months long as it saves me the pain of relegation (which I generally achieve after a gung-ho round of spending).

Mr. Ive reminded me today why it is I don’t much like Apple.  It’s all the crap they spout.

Maybe it’s because I am not a designer, but I appreciate aesthetics, I even own an iPhone and will admit, it is a damn fine looking piece of kit, but “it’s just display, and then no display”…c’mon…are you seriously trying out for a role in Spinal Tap 2?

“We’ve figured out a way to make the glass go right to the perimiter”…what a genius…I know a few glasiers who are able to shape and hang glass.

It’s a nice piece of kit, but do Apple fans really need all that bullshit in order to be convinced to buy it?
